    Description

The Society for Endocrinology administers this research grant on behalf of the Clinical Endocrinology Journal Foundation (CEJF). It supports clinically orientated research staff at any grade who are UK-based Society members. Projects must address an area of clinical endocrinology through clinical quality improvement activity or clinical audit. Multi-centred studies with a defined clinical outcome are preferred.

The grant can support a standalone project or work forming part of a larger study. For the latter, applicants must explain the relationship and demonstrate that funding for the larger study is already in place. Support can cover salaries, equipment, assays, consumables and project-related travel. Awardees are expected to complete the work within 24 months unless an extension is granted, and to submit a relevant clinical review to Clinical Endocrinology.
