Description
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation offers these awards through its Physician Training & Career Development Programs to attract, develop, and retain clinicians who can meet the CF community’s evolving healthcare needs. The awards support physicians pursuing fellowship training in CF-relevant subspecialties, combining specialized education with exposure to CF research and patient care.
This mechanism replaces the First-and-Second-Year Clinical Fellowships. It welcomes residents and early-stage fellows with limited CF experience, as well as later-stage fellows committed to CF care who do not intend to pursue an academic research career, including medical education careers. Clinical fellows at all stages may apply when the program’s goals fit their needs.
