Description
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Clinical Fellowship Awards – Research combine subspecialty fellowship training with support for a well-defined, hypothesis-driven project relevant to cystic fibrosis (CF). Fellows at any training stage may apply when ready to propose such a project. The award replaces the Third Year and beyond Clinical Fellowships and is part of the Foundation’s Physician Training & Career Development Programs, which develop clinicians and investigators to meet the CF community’s evolving healthcare and research needs.
Proposed research must relate to the Foundation’s mission and the health and well-being of people with CF. Addressing a listed research priority is encouraged, but not required. Funding priority favors projects advancing understanding of disease mechanisms, pathophysiology, prevention, and treatment strategies, alongside the fellow’s development toward an independent research career.
