Description
The Lymphoma Research Foundation’s Clinical Investigator Career Development Award supports advanced fellows and junior faculty preparing to design and administer clinical studies in lymphoma, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Its goal is to help physician investigators take primary responsibility for study design, protocol writing, Institutional Review Board submission, conduct, analysis, and publication.
Projects must center on hypothesis-driven clinical research involving human subjects. They may develop or assess therapies, diagnostic tools, or patient outcomes. Translational aims are permitted, but at least one clinical research aim must be the proposal’s primary focus; exclusively laboratory-based work is not appropriate. The Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Board reviews applications for their clinical research merit and potential impact on lymphoma treatment.
