The CAP Foundation’s Clinical Laboratory Science Investigator Award, sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company, provides pathology residents with a four-week onsite training experience at Lilly’s Clinical Diagnostics Laboratory in Indianapolis. Participants undertake research focused on improving the discovery, quality, and delivery of novel biomarker assays for clinical studies. The program helps future pathologists understand the challenges and opportunities of applying laboratory medicine within industry and contributing to drug and diagnostic development.
Projects can reflect individual interests in clinical chemistry, anatomic pathology, or molecular diagnostics.
