Description
Mayo Clinic’s campus in Jacksonville, Florida, offers a two-year, full-time postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology. The program prepares doctoral-level neuropsychologists for American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology certification and careers in multidisciplinary medical or academic settings. Training covers young, middle-aged, and older adults, combining supervised clinical practice with research, teaching, and professional development.
Three primary rotations address neurodegenerative diseases and clinical prodromes, neurosurgical populations, and complex medical neuropsychology and genetic conditions. Experiences include outpatient assessments, cross-cultural evaluations for Spanish-speaking individuals, neurosurgical monitoring and brain mapping, and rehabilitation-focused interventions. Fellows encounter epilepsy, neuro-oncology, cerebrovascular disease, organ transplantation, autoimmune conditions, and other complex presentations. Individually tailored training draws on Mayo Clinic’s clinical, educational, and research resources.
