Description
This award supports clinical pilot and feasibility studies that involve human subjects or samples, with the aim of developing and testing new hypotheses, methods, or approaches in cystic fibrosis (CF) research. The program is designed to help investigators—especially those new to CF—generate preliminary data that will inform larger-scale or collaborative trials. Projects may address diagnosis, treatment, management, or pathophysiology of CF, and special consideration is given to novel or under-researched topics and creative research directions. The program also encourages applications that address health disparities and diversity in the CF research workforce.
