This program funds investigator-initiated clinical research projects with the potential to significantly advance the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission. Supported projects may focus on the diagnosis, treatment, management, or pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis, utilizing clinical, translational, or epidemiologic approaches. There is a strong emphasis on studies addressing health disparities, health equity, and the inclusion of diverse populations and researchers. Supplemental funds are available for projects that further health equity, translation of materials, or the use of interpreters.
