Description
The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation’s Clinical Research Grants for Mentored Research Studies are designed to stimulate innovative, mentored research projects that advance clinical practice in communication sciences and disorders. The program seeks proposals that develop new or improved treatments, assessment methods, or evidence-based clinical practices in audiology and speech-language pathology. Emphasis is placed on projects that are bold, forward-thinking, and have the potential to significantly enhance the daily functioning of individuals with, or at risk for, communication impairments. The grant aims to foster the development of independent investigators, particularly through mentored studies that can be completed within one or two years.
