Description
This funding opportunity is part of the OSUCCC – James Intramural Research Program (IRP) and provides seed funding for investigator-initiated clinical trials focused on novel concepts in cancer prevention and treatment. The program is specifically intended for phase I or pilot studies that are ready to launch, are not industry-supported (except for drug supply), and are associated with one of the five OSUCCC – James research programs. The goal is to generate preliminary data to support future NCI grant applications and to encourage translation of Ohio State basic science discoveries into clinical applications. Progress reports are required to ensure continued funding.
