Description
The Clinician-Scientist Award from the American Otological Society (AOS) is designed to foster the academic growth of early-career otologists and neurotologists by supporting mentored research that bridges clinical practice with scientific discovery. The award encourages innovative and exploratory projects rooted in the sciences related to the ear, including normal function or disorders of the cochlea, labyrinth, central auditory, or vestibular systems. The ultimate goal is to advance knowledge, diagnosis, or treatment of otological disorders, particularly by enabling junior investigators to generate preliminary data for future major grant applications.
