Description
The CMO Excellence in Green Chemistry Award, presented by the ACS Green Chemistry Institute Pharmaceutical Roundtable (GCIPR), honors contract manufacturing organizations (CMOs) that have made significant advancements in green chemistry within pharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing. The award spotlights achievements in developing greener synthetic routes, reaction conditions, or manufacturing technologies for starting materials, intermediates, or active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). Recognized accomplishments should demonstrate impactful reductions in waste, hazardous chemicals, process mass intensity, and improvements in safety, efficiency, and environmental outcomes. Winners are invited to present their technology at the annual Green Chemistry & Engineering Conference and receive a plaque and certificates.
