Description
The New Hampshire Department of Education’s Bureau of Special Education Support awards competitive grants to public school districts establishing unified co-curricular activities. These activities supplement academic study and offer opportunities for social development and participation in clubs, athletics, performing groups, and service to schools and communities.
The fund prioritizes districts whose schools do not yet have a unified co-curricular program. Applicants must show how their program will be accessible to all students, including students with disabilities. If funds remain after support for new programs, districts with existing unified co-curricular programs may receive funding to replace equipment or uniforms.
