Coefficient Giving’s open call supports research and other work that increases the health impact of existing vaccines, primarily for people in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). It seeks opportunities to improve protection, extend use to additional populations, and simplify schedules or reduce costs so more people can benefit. Eligible approaches include clinical trials, observational studies, modeling, analysis, and regulatory or policy work.
The call prioritizes substantial and neglected disease burdens, cost-effectiveness, and credible routes from evidence to specific regulatory, program, or policy decisions. Supported work can optimize doses and schedules, test new indications, inform immunization decisions, or remove regulatory, manufacturing, storage, and transport barriers. Both well-developed proposals and promising early-stage project ideas are welcome.
