Description
This program funds the development and implementation of Coldwater Conservation Plans to protect, conserve, and improve Pennsylvania’s coldwater streams and their watersheds. The Coldwater Heritage Partnership Grant is a collaborative initiative among the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Foundation for Pennsylvania Watersheds, and Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited. Grants support local organizations in identifying threats, planning conservation actions, and carrying out projects that enhance coldwater ecosystems—particularly those supporting wild and native trout populations.
