Description
This grant opportunity supports the creation and strengthening of partnerships between academic researchers and industry, specifically through the UK Human Functional Genomics Initiative (FGx). The fund is designed to enable feasibility, pilot, or initial studies that generate preliminary data and support innovative approaches in functional genomics. Projects may focus on generating new functional genomic annotations, developing novel methods or disease models, or advancing computational and data science approaches relevant to human disease. Proposals that bring unique knowledge or technology to the FGx initiative, or that benefit the wider functional genomics community, are encouraged. Technology priming projects are also welcome.
