Description
This call promotes collaboration between Norwegian research groups and societal and industry actors across the land-based food and beverage value chain, from primary production through processing to consumers. Administered through the Research Council of Norway, funding is allocated by the boards of the Foundation for Research Levy on Agricultural Products (FFL) and Agricultural Agreement Research Fund (JA). Projects should build research expertise and deliver useful, market-relevant solutions that increase value creation, profitability and sustainable development.
Projects must address food and supply security; climate, environment and circular economy; technology and digitalisation; or society and consumers. Research interests include self-sufficiency, preparedness, emissions reduction, climate-adapted production, sustainable resource use, AI, robotics, sensors and interactions between food production and consumer needs. Work must demonstrate clear value-chain utility and be adapted to Norwegian conditions.
