The Collaboration Initiative Single-Year Seed Grant is designed to stimulate new and ongoing research collaborations involving two or more University of Nebraska campuses. Funded by the Nebraska Research Initiative, this program supports projects that generate essential preliminary data for future federally funded research proposals or resubmissions. It also aims to build research capabilities that strengthen the University of Nebraska's National Strategic Research Institute (NSRI), particularly for securing contract funding from agencies such as the U.S. Strategic Command and other Department of Defense entities. Collaborations with NSRI content experts are encouraged, especially for projects aligned with NSRI priority topics.
