Description
The Collaboration Seed Funds program, part of the NH-LIFT initiative administered by New Hampshire EPSCoR, is designed to help faculty at NH-LIFT partner institutions establish or strengthen research collaborations with colleagues at other academic institutions or industry partners. The goal is to foster interdisciplinary teams, catalyze innovation, and lay the groundwork for competitive proposals to external funders, particularly those aligned with National Science Foundation (NSF) priorities. Supported activities include joint meetings, workshops, seminars, and other convening opportunities that build readiness for collaborative research and proposal development. The program emphasizes broad participation—especially by Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs) and Community Colleges—and alignment with the NH University Research and Industry Plan.
