    Description

This grant provides K-12 educators in Utah schools with the opportunity to pursue personal artistic development through individualized instruction with a professional teaching artist. The focus is on fostering the educator's own artistic skills and knowledge, regardless of prior experience in the chosen art form. The program is not intended to support classroom instruction, curriculum development, or the purchase of art supplies, but rather to enable personal enrichment and exploration in any artistic discipline, including visual arts, music, theatre, dance, storytelling, media arts, folk arts, or creative writing. The selected artist delivers 16 hours of one-on-one instruction, and the grant payment is made directly to the artist.
