Description
The National Institutes of Health seeks applications to establish a national network of Children’s Environmental Health Research Translation Centers. Working with the children’s environmental health community, the centers will develop and test scientific questions and public health interventions or strategies, with a focus on translating findings into practice.
The centers are intended to lead translational research and research-methodology development, turn evidence-informed biomedical findings into actionable steps for the wider community of practice, and mentor new investigators in children’s environmental health. The network will also serve as a national research resource for responses to emerging environmental exposures affecting children. Clinical trials are optional.
