Description
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s College Readiness and Success Models program supports strategies and systemic reforms that improve outcomes for academically disadvantaged and underprepared students. Its 2026 cycle aims to help those students build momentum toward postsecondary credentials of value and workforce success, in alignment with Building a Talent Strong Texas.
The program emphasizes evidence-based approaches to acceleration, persistence, course completion and academic achievement. Supported work includes expanding corequisite models and continuous improvement practices, strengthening support for near college-ready students, and developing initiatives in career pathways advising, embedded tutoring, teaching and learning technologies, and professional development.
