The Collegeville Institute Pastoral Fellowship supports pastors and other religious leaders whose writing projects are intended to enrich religious life and serve the church. Offered through the Institute’s residency programs in Collegeville, Minnesota, it gives pastor-writers time and space to work within a residential scholarly community. A limited number of fellowships are available.
The fellowship accompanies either a short-term scholar residency of three weeks or longer or a full-term Resident Scholar stay of one or two semesters. The residential setting combines independent research, reflection, and writing with community life. Resident Scholars gather weekly for seminars, prayer, and shared lunch with fellow scholars, Institute staff, and monastic liaisons from Saint John’s Abbey.
