--- ## Description This one-year fellowship at Mayo Clinic’s Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona campus provides advanced training in colon and rectal surgery. Fellows gain comprehensive experience in laparoscopic colorectal procedures, outpatient preoperative assessment, and postoperative management. The program emphasizes personalized career development, substantial research opportunities (including completion of a research project and presentations at conferences), and one-on-one mentorship with double-boarded faculty. Fellows also rotate through related specialties such as endoscopy, gynecology, and radiology.
