Description
The Colorado Main Street Program, managed by the Department of Local Affairs, is designed to help Colorado communities revitalize their downtowns while celebrating and preserving local character. The program provides a customizable framework for community-led efforts to enhance economic vitality, preserve historic assets, and foster a strong sense of place. As part of the Main Street America™ Coordinating Program, Colorado Main Street connects local initiatives to a national network dedicated to grassroots, preservation-based economic development and the creation of vibrant, resilient downtowns.
Communities accepted into the program receive ongoing technical assistance, consulting services, training, and access to mini-grants and scholarship opportunities to support their revitalization projects.
