The Colorado Water Plan Grant Program supports projects that implement the Colorado Water Plan’s goals, including water storage and supply, conservation and land use planning, engagement and innovation, agriculture, and watershed health and recreation. The program encourages collaborative, innovative, and multi-benefit projects that address Colorado’s water challenges, promote sustainable management, and benefit communities, agriculture, and natural resources statewide. Eligible projects may include new storage development, technical assistance, feasibility studies, educational outreach, watershed improvements, and more.
