Description
The Commonwealth Nonprofit Security Grant Program is administered by the Massachusetts Office of Grants and Research (OGR). It provides competitive, one-time funding for nonprofit organizations, including faith-based institutions, medical and health care facilities, and other human service entities, to improve building safety for members, visitors, participants, and staff.
The program supports target hardening, physical security equipment, and inspection and screening systems that address risks of terrorist attacks or hate crimes. Priority goes to organizations demonstrating the greatest need through threats or incidents related to their purpose, mission, or services, and proposing cost-effective solutions to high-priority security gaps. This is a physical security program, not a cybersecurity or security-personnel grant.
