Description
The Oklahoma Arts Council’s Community Arts Experience Grants support arts-focused, audience-based programs across Oklahoma. Eligible projects include concerts, recitals, visual art exhibitions, festivals, and other performances or multidisciplinary events open to the public. The program aims to expand cultural opportunities, strengthen community vitality, enrich quality of life, and help preserve cultural heritage.
Grant funding can reimburse costs directly supporting a project, including contracted artists and their travel, event services, coordination, supplies, venue or equipment rental, printed programs, and marketing. The council considers artistic quality in reviewing applications and supports disciplines including music, theatre, dance, literary arts, media arts, and visual arts.
