The Community Arts Mini Grant is administered by the West Virginia Department of Arts Culture and History as part of its arts grant offerings. It supports community arts projects that present artists through performances, workshops, and other activities with a specific arts focus. Local governments and 501(c)(3) organizations can seek support for these artist presentations.
Artist presentation is central to the program, but eligible work is not limited to performances. Workshops and other project formats also fit when they have an explicit connection to the arts. Across these formats, the program’s focus is on presenting artists through community arts activity.
