Description
This opportunity funds community-based participatory research (CBPR) that advances HIV prevention, testing, care, and long-term health outcomes among populations most impacted by HIV in Australia, Canada, and Europe. Gilead Sciences seeks proposals that are designed and led by community-based organizations (CBOs), placing people with lived experience at the center of research design and implementation. The program emphasizes projects that address gaps across the HIV care continuum, reduce stigma, and foster peer-led and community-driven innovations.
Proposals should address at least one of several priority research questions, such as improving HIV testing and linkage to care, reducing stigma, evaluating peer-led services, or innovating collaborations between communities and healthcare stakeholders. Both qualitative and quantitative research are eligible, provided the CBO is the primary applicant and project driver.
