Description
The Keweenaw Community Foundation’s Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is offering this new, one-time grant opportunity for fall 2026. The Community Connection Grant supports programs, projects, and initiatives that bring people together and create meaningful connections within and across local communities. Its central priority is connection, both among people within a community and between communities across the local area.
The opportunity combines funding awarded to the Foundation by the Trust for Civic Life with support from YAC’s own granting budget. It is open to nonprofit organizations, schools, municipalities, Tribal Nations, and community organizations serving four counties in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, as part of the Foundation’s broader work to strengthen the community.
