Description
This grant supports nonprofit organizations in Charlotte-Mecklenburg to develop new or expand existing programs that broaden participation in arts, science, history, and cultural experiences. The goal is to remove barriers to access, encourage community engagement, and foster innovation and sustainability in the cultural sector. Projects should directly address practical, geographic, or economic barriers to participation, and must demonstrate strategies for increasing community access and inclusion. The grant is part of the City of Charlotte Arts & Culture Plan, with funding from the City of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, and the North Carolina Arts Council Grassroots Arts Program.
