Description
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program – 2026 Housing Activities, administered by New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR), offers federal funding to eligible local governments (cities, towns, villages, and counties) in New York State. The program is designed to support a range of community development initiatives that principally benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) residents. Eligible activities include home repair grants, improvements to senior and community centers, infrastructure projects such as drinking water and sewer upgrades, and support for small business start-ups and expansions.
