Description
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) – Tourism Development program, administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), provides funding to Nebraska counties and municipalities for the planning and construction of tourism-related projects. Eligible projects must be expected to draw at least 2,500 annual visitors and must meet one of the CDBG national objectives: benefiting low- and moderate-income (LMI) persons, preventing or eliminating slums or blight, or addressing urgent community needs. The program aims to foster economic and community development, encourage additional investment, and improve quality of life for Nebraska residents.
