Description
The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) – Economic Development program, administered by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development (DED), provides funding to support local economic growth through business loans and infrastructure construction projects. The goal is to stimulate investment, create or retain jobs (especially for low- and moderate-income individuals), and enhance the viability and sustainability of Nebraska communities outside of major entitlement cities. Projects must address one or more CDBG national objectives, such as benefiting low- and moderate-income persons or eliminating slum or blight.
