Description
Northwestern Medicine’s Community Donations program provides financial support to designated nonprofit organizations, government agencies and public entities working to address community health needs. Priority goes to organizations addressing the priority health needs of Northwestern Medicine hospitals. These priorities are informed by each hospital’s Community Health Needs Assessment, conducted every three years.
The program supports community health project work rather than event sponsorships. Requests should explain the organization’s broader mission and vision for community health and how Northwestern Medicine’s support will help it achieve success. Donations are intended to support a year’s project needs through a single award, rather than provide a commitment to ongoing annual funding.
