Description
Community Engaged Project Grants are run by the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts (RISCA). They support arts and culture projects, in any discipline, that directly engage the public or a specific Rhode Island community. Projects may be one-time events or connected activities with a distinct beginning and end.
The program values meaningful, two-way participation, whether a project works deeply with a small group or reaches a larger audience. Artists and creatives at all levels may apply. Projects must welcome people new to artmaking as active participants and contribute to cultural life in Rhode Island; work engaging communities with limited access to arts programs is particularly suitable.
