Description
Community Event Funding is an internal funding program administered by John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Office for Advancement of Research (OAR). It supports faculty in hosting scholarly or creative events at the college, bringing these activities to the wider John Jay community through free, community-wide access.
Community benefit is central to the program. Proposed events must be open to the entire John Jay community rather than limited to a particular group. Applicants must explain the planned activity and make a compelling case for how hosting it will benefit the college community, supported by a detailed, justified event budget.
