Description
The Community Flood Planning (Outcome 2) program, administered by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR), provides funding for projects that help Maryland’s coastal communities reduce their vulnerability to current and future flood risks. The program focuses on proactive planning for both coastal and precipitation-based flooding, with an emphasis on climate-driven impacts such as sea level rise, storm surge, nuisance flooding, and increased stormwater.
