Description
The Charlevoix County Community Foundation (C3F) supports projects and organizations that enhance quality of life for Charlevoix County residents. Its grantmaking covers arts and culture, education, environmental stewardship, community and economic development, civic improvement, human services, health and wellness, recreation, and youth projects. Requests must address future needs and benefit county residents.
The application guide describes five seasonal cycles and three ongoing cycles. Seasonal opportunities address environmental and land use initiatives, arts and culture, broad community priorities, needs in specific communities, and youth priorities. Ongoing opportunities support small or unanticipated projects, urgent basic needs, and housing solutions. Community Priorities welcomes a wide variety of proposals, while Mini Grants also support organizational capacity building and projects outside other cycles’ timelines.
