Description
The Community Fund for Carmel Valley (CFCV), an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Monterey County, provides annual grants to nonprofit organizations and public programs that benefit the communities of Carmel Valley and Cachagua (including Jamesburg). The fund prioritizes projects in community development, youth and senior programming, and resident-focused initiatives such as education, cultural, and historical activities. Special consideration is given to organizations directly serving these communities, especially those addressing basic needs (e.g., food and housing security) or emergency prevention and response (such as fire/disaster preparedness). Preference is given to locally based organizations with limited access to other funding sources, particularly where a small grant can have a meaningful impact.
