Community Giving Foundation partners with five affiliate foundations—Berwick, Bloomsburg, Danville, Selinsgrove, and Sunbury—to provide competitive grants benefiting communities in Pennsylvania’s Central Susquehanna region. Local boards guide grant allocations according to community needs and affiliate priorities, with administrative support from the regional Foundation. Supported program areas include arts and culture, education, health and human services, and youth and recreation.
Each affiliate has a place-based mission: investing in Berwick residents’ wellbeing, strengthening the community in Columbia County through Bloomsburg, stewarding charitable resources for Danville, supporting a thriving future for Selinsgrove residents, and enhancing opportunities in the Sunbury area. Applications are evaluated for their alignment with current needs, funding priorities, and potential community impact.
