Description
Greater Worcester Community Foundation’s Community Grant: Operating Support funds organizations as a whole rather than a single program or project. Grants are unrestricted and may be used at the organization’s discretion to fulfill its mission. The opportunity is part of the Foundation’s signature Community Grant Program, which awards close to $2 million annually across project/programming and general operating support.
The Foundation seeks organizations whose missions strongly align with one of five strategic focus areas: Arts & Creativity, Basic Needs, Economic Opportunity, Health & Wellbeing, and Youth Development. Priorities include a diverse arts ecosystem, food and housing stability, career preparation and advancement, equitable healthcare access for historically excluded populations, and youth experiences and leadership opportunities beyond school. The Foundation aims to make transformative investments while addressing historical philanthropic barriers to funding.
