The Amgen Foundation Community Grants program provides funding to nonprofit organizations that create lasting, meaningful impacts in communities where Amgen staff live and work, with a primary focus on the United States and Puerto Rico. The program is especially interested in advancing science education through both hands-on and digital learning experiences, supporting teacher professional development, and fostering authentic, inquiry-based science learning for students and educators. While most grants are awarded by invitation, a limited number of unsolicited proposals are accepted each year for initiatives that demonstrate significant benefit to local communities and are tightly aligned with the Foundation’s strategic priorities.
