Description
Community Impact Grants support the Sturgis Area Community Foundation’s mission to make a positive, lasting impact on quality of life in communities throughout St. Joseph County, Michigan. The program funds both programs and projects across arts and culture, community and economic development, education, health, human services, housing, seniors, and youth.
Formerly known as Sturgis Competitive Grants, these awards draw from the Foundation’s unrestricted resources. Areas of emphasis include educational attainment and career readiness, alongside community development and engagement. These priorities encompass early learning, workforce preparation, vibrant downtowns, cultural activities, and parks and trails. The Foundation also considers initiatives addressing neighborhood revitalization and housing, as well as talent attraction and retention.
