Description
The Community Impact Grants program, administered by the Community Foundation of Sarasota County, is designed to empower nonprofit organizations working to improve the lives of individuals, families, and households. The grants support projects in three primary areas: Community Care, Empowerment and Success, and Belonging and Culture. Emphasizing a two-generation (2Gen) philosophy, the program seeks initiatives that address the needs of both children and adults, particularly those facing systemic barriers to wellbeing and economic mobility. Funded programs typically focus on increasing access to essential services, fostering economic opportunity, strengthening community wellbeing, and expanding access to arts and culture for underserved populations.
