Description
Virginia Housing’s Community Impact Grants help localities and housing partners undertake early work to address housing challenges and create or preserve affordable housing. Grants can cover market research, design and engineering studies, community outreach, neighborhood community design, and planning for mixed-use or mixed-income development. They can also support other initiatives to provide housing and spur economic growth.
Most Virginia Housing grants are funded through REACH Virginia, which receives a significant portion of the organization’s net revenues each year. REACH Virginia supports housing initiatives through Homeownership, Rental and Community Outreach programs.
