Description
This grant supports early-stage, community-led planning and capacity-building projects aimed at preparing communities—especially those that are disadvantaged, low-income, or Tribal—for future clean transportation investments. Administered by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), the program funds efforts that reflect local priorities and advance long-term goals in mobility, health, equity, and sustainability. Projects may include needs assessments, outreach, workforce development, and other planning activities that foster organizational capacity and readiness for subsequent clean transportation initiatives. Technical assistance and information sessions are available to help applicants develop competitive proposals.
