Description
FloridaCommerce’s Community Planning Technical Assistance (CPTA) Grant Program supports innovative community plans and development strategies that promote a diverse economy, meet statutory planning requirements and protect environmentally sensitive areas. Projects should advance community planning and economic development strategies implementing the Community Planning Act. The program encourages creative or unique approaches to planning, development and infrastructure planning.
CPTA also supports disaster recovery, resiliency and economic development planning in hurricane-affected communities, particularly planning related to flooding and the requirements of Chapter 163.3178(2)(f), Florida Statutes. Rural local government awardees can receive technical assistance and training in comprehensive planning, economic development and land development, including strategies to address management and administrative capacity challenges.
