Description
The New Jersey Department of Human Services, through its Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS), is inviting Letters of Interest from psychiatry residency programs to add residents beginning training in July 2027. Funding supports each new position through the four years of adult psychiatry residency training, from PGY1 through PGY4.
State Fiscal Year 2027 funding allows for 15 new positions across New Jersey programs. Selected programs also receive support for supervision and mentorship activities. The initiative is intended to expand training capacity within existing residency programs.
